Design Assistant/Junior Interior Designer Kari Whitman Interiors is an upscale interior design-build firm known for its creativity and innovative design solutions. You should be highly proficient in AutoCAD and Google Drive, confident in your ability to create boards, drawings, and FF&E schedules, and comfortable acting as a liaison with vendors and subcontractors. Duties of Design Assistant/Junior Interior Designer : • Assisting the senior designer with general design responsibilities like creating boards, drawings, FFE’s, etc • Some general office operations, including phones, filing, and running errands as needed • Managing client budgets and all ordering (specifications, purchase orders, shipping, etc.) Compensation for Design Assistant/Junior Interior Designer: • $64,000-74,000 per year • Regular opportunities for bonuses and raises dependent on performance • Salary commensurate with experience (we are looking for a mid-level junior designer)
