Design Assistant

Job Overview We are looking for a design assistant to join our team and aid in selections, drawings, procurement, and some administrative tasks. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and take initiative when necessary to complete the task at hand. Duties • Assist Lead Designer in design selections • Assist Lead Designer in drawing floor plans & cabinet elevations • Assist the Lead Designer in procurement of approved selections, receiving selections, and ensuring all items arrive to site on time • Assist in business administrative tasks • Procure samples from vendors Requirements • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture • Minimum 2 years experience in relative field • Proficient in Auto Cad • Proficient in Adobe Suite • Proficient in Excel • Must be able to read and understand blue prints • Able to work on active construction sites Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
