Our well-renowned, high-end custom cabinetry company is looking for an Design Assistant to our senior Kitchen & Bath Designers to join the team at our downtown South-side showroom. Requirements: • Great attitude, eager and interested in learning, and drama-free • Two- or four-year degree in design or related field • Preferably at least 1-2 years of work experience in the residential design industry • Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Professional and pleasant in manner, demeanor, and appearance • AutoCAD and/or 2020 design software knowledge • Experience taking measurements and strong math skills • A valid driver's license, car available for business use when needed, willingness to drive company van, and ability to lift a reasonable amount of weight (e.g. packages, supplies, cardboard, etc.) Schedule/Compensation: • Monday-Friday / 8:30a to 5:30p • Full-Time / Hourly Pay • Mileage Reimbursements • Paid Time Off after 6 Months of Employment • 3-Month Training/Probationary Period
