Method Homes is looking for an interior design and sales assistant to work 2-3 days per week out of our Ferndale location. An ideal candidate would have a background in architecture or interior design and experience working in a design office. It's important to us to provide a valuable experience for every employee, so administrative tasks will be kept to a minimum. We're looking for someone to support our staff and increase our efficiency so that we can maintain the current volume of work and excellent customer service for our company. Programs: -Microsoft Office: Excel, Word -InDesign -AutoCAD -Photoshop -Revit a plus Interior Design duties: -Finish presentations in InDesign -Sit in on client specifications meetings -Sit in on factory meetings pre-construction -Sample requests for clients and designer -CAD drafting of floor plans and interiors -Research new materials -Recruit quotes for materials -Create internal and client-facing project documents -New graphic design presentations for marketing Administrative tasks: 20% or less administrative duties -Shipping packages to clients Knowledge and Skill Requirements: -Graphic design experience -Knowledge of interior design, finishes and color palettes -Minimum of 1+ years previous experience, with knowledge of home building industry and green building.Create an account to see the full posting, access our search engine, and more.
