Design Assistant

Interior Design Assistant Wanted We are an award winning Design-Build home remodeling company looking to bring an Interior Design Assistant on to our growing team. We are seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, creative, organized, knowledgeable about interior design, passionate about growing in their career, and effectively communicates as a team player. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their duties and will be able to multitask in a competitive and constantly evolving industry. Design assistants are often the first point of contact for our clients, and they are responsible for establishing professional, friendly, and memorable first impressions • Researching materials, assisting clients with material shopping and selections, and coordinating orders with vendors • Communicating, scheduling, and attending meetings with our draftsman, production crew, subcontractors, and clients as needed for projects • Managing the company global calendar and project pipelines to ensure they are accurate and up to date at all times • Attending design meetings and taking detailed notes • Maintaining project estimate files using Microsoft Excel • Creating 3D interior design models using Chief Architect Software Bachelor’s degree or a background in interior design, drafting, architecture, or related fields preferred.
