Ken Fulk Inc. is seeking a designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional interior design experience for our San Francisco studio.RESPONSIBILITIESTake direction from senior designers and design team in assisting with creating design concepts and presentations.Assist senior designers with space planning, material selection, and presentation preparation.Assist with all phases of design process: programming client needs, conceptual design, design development, purchasing and production, project management, and installation.Assist with sourcing ff&e, artwork, and design custom pieces.Work with vendors and artists to help make sure projects run smoothly and on time.Work on multiple projects and with various design teams at once.Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.Hospitality experience is not a requirement, but preferred.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.At least 2 years of experience working at an interior design firm.High level of experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and the Microsoft Suite; experience in Sketchup, 3D and AI is a bonus.Interest in learning construction documents and details.Interest in learning purchasing processes.Strong visual communication skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.Strong sense of organization and professionalism.Strong verbal and written communications skills.A mix of Hospitality and Residential experience is preferred.Eagerness to learn and develop skills in various aspects of interior design.Position is full time and based in San Francisco at “The Magic Factory.” Compensation based on experience ($67,000 - $75,000).Ken Fulk Inc. offers health insurance, dental insurance option, vision insurance option, life insurance, pet insurance option, employee assistance program (Counseling & Support Resources), paid holiday Break (Christmas Eve – New Year’s Day), 13 paid holidays, and matching 401k (5%).Submit all job applications to [email protected] with the Title in the subject.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionDesign, Art/Creative, and Information TechnologyIndustriesDesign Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
