Peabody’s Interiors is looking to grow its team with a motivated, organized, and inventive design assistant who can support interior designer, Margaret Zingale across all design phases for both high-end residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, assist with project coordination, and help execute design concepts while contributing to a variety of tasks.Responsibilities include:Facilitate the design process for projects under the direction of the interior designer which includes preparing client presentations and proposals, construction and design schedules and proposals, and other design related tasks.Create technical drawings in AutoCAD for internal and external use, including but not limited to preparing and modifying architectural documents, elevations, sections, cabinetry drawings, and any accompanying details.Request and receive estimates and quotes from design showrooms, workrooms, and vendors.Provide support on projects from concept through completion.Maintain successful vendor, client, and internal team member relationships by communicating and resolving issues professionally.Generate clear proposals and pricing estimates for client review.Attend all client meetings and take detailed notes.Manage sample library.Prepare and assist with photo shoots and coordination with photographer.Assist on-site with installations.Work with the controller to keep timely records.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree.Skilled in AutoCAD.Capable of reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.Exhibit dedication to quality and attention to detail in all facets of work and client interaction.Highly dependable, responsible, and passionate.Possess strong organizational, writing, and communication skills with a self-motivated attitude and eagerness to learn.Maintain a customer-centric mentality with clients, contractors, and vendors alike.Demonstrate ability to communicate with co-workers and business contacts in a highly professional manner.Detail oriented and extremely organized.Exhibit dedication to quality, strong attention to detail, and excellent follow-through.Ability to assist with multiple projects in different stages of development and prioritize tasks accordingly.Proven ability to problem solve, anticipate next steps, and complete tasks.Ability to excel individually and in a team environment.Ability to work in person.Desire to travel for sourcing, meetings, and installations (and access to a reliable source of transportation).About our Company:Peabody’s Interiors is a high-end residential interior design firm based in Brown Deer, WI.
