Design Associate (Home Staging)

Mayker is looking for a Design Associate to assist in the execution of our home staging installations. Pull and organize styling inventory and decor details at the warehouse—reviewing load lists with the warehouse manager to ensure each home is well-preparedDirect furniture placement and room layouts on-site, working alongside the delivery team to bring the Design Lead's vision to lifeStyle each room with finishing touches—making beds, arranging art, placing plants, and accessorizing thoughtfully to create warmth and intentionWork with photographers on shoot day to ensure each space is camera-ready and styled to sellCreate a "shoppable" experience within the home—making it feel lived-in, not stagedOversee styling details during load-outs, ensuring decor items are carefully packed and returnedComplete a Design Debrief after each install, flagging any inventory gaps or site challenges for future projectsProvide input to the Design Lead on staging concepts and spatial solutions as neededAssist with interior design installs as requested Who You Are Homes aren't always ready when you arrive. This is an hourly position with flexible scheduling between 10–40 hours per week, depending on your availability and project needs.This role is based in Nashville and requires regular time at the warehouse in La Vergne, on-site at staged properties, and occasional presence at client locations.While our delivery team handles heavy furniture, this role does require being on your feet, carrying styling items, and occasionally moving lighter pieces.Schedule flexibility is essential—install timelines don't always fit within traditional business hours.Experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, or retail styling is strongly preferred.
