Job Description Key Responsibilities • Originate and develop ideas for automotive interior concepts, near-production, and production designs; • Produce sketches, renderings, and full-scale illustrations for concept and/or production products; • Participate in design development or adaptation and oversee projects as assigned; • Create design/styling ideas based on aesthetics, human factors, materials, engineering, packaging, application, methods of production, cost, market characteristics, and appropriateness based on objectives; • Prepare design data and line drawings for model-making and engineering; • Work with modelers to develop scale and/or full-size models of design (give guidance regarding design changes as required); • Conduct research to support development of project concepts; • Integrate findings and concepts into two and three-dimensional sketches and models; Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Transportation Design or a similar discipline; • 5+ years' automotive design experience with 3+ years in automotive production design; • Demonstrated skill in verbal and visual communication, analytic skills, attention to detail, planning and organizing, and collaboration; Benefits Our success begins and ends with our people, and we value unique human experiences.
