During the sales and design process the Design Consultant oversees the client experience and provides direction and leadership for the project. Key Responsibilities: • Initial client phone call qualification • Conducts initial consultation with client on site (conducts follow up appointments) • Develops initial budget • Brainstorms and develops initial concepts with the client • Closes the design contract for the project • Assists with asbuilt measurements of existing space • Sets deadlines and manages critical path of the design process with internal designers, project managers and outside engineers • Updates and manages the budget through the design process • Assists the client with product selections • Reviews drawings and clarifies the scope for the client and the design team • At project completion: manage the photo shoot, record client remarks and request online reviews from the client and ask for referrals
