Minimum Eligibility RequirementsOne (1) year of interior design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and... experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company and prior retail sales experience preferredKnowledge of hard surface flooring is a plusExcellent customer service skillsProficient in basic mathematical skillsMust be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast paced environmentAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerWilling to work retail hoursExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsBasic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suitePerform other duties as assigned Essential FunctionsGreets every customer in a helpful and courteous mannerSeeks new customers and supports store walk-in needsSells tile, wood, and stone products to complete the design planMeet and exceed established goalsComplete specialist certification trainingResponsible for understanding and utilizing design applications i.e.; SketchUp, proprietary Online Design Appointment SchedulerStay current on design trends and have understanding of trends in your marketMaintain a high level of customer contact and follow up orking Conditions (travel, hours, environment)Limited travel may be required by carWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
