About the Role As a Design Consultant - Home Interiors at Norris Furniture & Interiors, you will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences. You will then use this information to create customized designs that meet their specific requirements. This may involve selecting furniture pieces, choosing colors and patterns, and creating layouts that maximize functionality and style. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include establishing rapport with guests in a low-stress environment, interpreting and translating client needs into visional presentations, defining project requirements and scheduling during the initial meeting or home visit, managing design projects from concept to completion, and setting costs and project fees according to client budget and needs. You will also research and decide on product, materials, and fabrics sourcing, produce sample mood boards and presentations, and keep abreast of project progression and timeliness.
