As a Design Consultant, you will meet with homeowners to create customized solutions for closets, home offices, garages, entertainment centers, pantries, and more. We provide pre-set, qualified appointments based on the schedule you establish. While cold calling is not required, self-generated business is strongly encouraged and rewarded with a higher commission rate.

Meet with homeowners around Birmingham to design custom solutions for spaces such as:

Closets and dressing roomsPantries and laundry roomsHome offices and librariesGarages and mudroomsEntertainment centersWall beds and storage systemsDuring each consultation, you will:

Learn about the client's needs, preferences, and budget.Measure the space accurately.Create a customized design.Present the design, materials, and pricing.Guide the client through the purchasing decision.Follow up consistently and close the sale.Manage your appointments and sales pipeline independently.Who Succeeds Here?

Candidates may come from backgrounds such as in-home sales, real estate, home improvement, interior design, furniture, luxury retail, automotive sales, hospitality or education.

Qualifications/Requirements:

2+ years Sales Experience, in-home sales experience a plus.Strong communication and listening skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to visit clients' homes around the Birmingham areaBasic math and measurement skillsComfortable learning computer-based design and pricing softwareComfortable working in a commission-driven environmentCell phone, reliable vehicle, laptop computer, and a clean driving record are requiredAbout Closet Factory
