Design Consultant:MM:53:T2

In this role, the Design Consultant assists new home buyers with various aspects of their home design, including color choices, product selections, and overall design strategies. The consultant promotes upgrades to standard lines and must stay informed about new and upcoming product lines through regular attendance at product sales training meetings. Responsibilities • Assists new home buyers with color choices, options, and product selection in the overall design of their new home, ensuring customer satisfaction , • Customer-focused with communication and presentation skills , • Promotes the enhancement of upgrading standard lines , • Attends all product sales training meetings to stay knowledgeable of all new and upcoming product lines on the market , • Become educated in the line of products carried, their uses, prices, etc. to effectively communicate with guests , • Engages guests promptly, personally, and with the goal of opening the conversation and ensuring they feel welcome , • Interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about the Design Studio , • Greets each guest with a smile and direct eye contact , • Provides customer service to all current and future buyers , • Communicates with customers to establish clear goals and expectations for each experience , • Stays on schedule with design appointments and ensures that builds are completed by the set deadline , • Addresses customer complaints and works to find a resolution, involving management as needed , • Must be able to work weekends , • Performs all duties in adherence to company standards , • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices , • Performs other duties as assigned Bilingual (Spanish) a plus , • PC and Microsoft Office skills are essential , • Must be able to read and interpret floor plans, cabinet drawings, and electrical plans and visualize in three dimensions , • Ability to use a scale ruler , • Must possess the ability to coordinate interiors and exteriors that are welcoming to clients of all ages and be sensitive to the individual's tastes and cultural preferences , • Must be able to establish rapport with others and cultivate relationships , • Must be focused on delivering customer experience with every interaction , • Must be organized, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment , • Ability to convey messages and ideas with professionalism
