Our client, a rapid growing lifestyle brand is seeking a Design Director / Senior Product Designer - Home & Non Apparel to join their team!

This is a full-time on site role based in Jacksonville, FL with relocation assistance provided!

A fast-growing lifestyle and consumer products company is seeking a highly creative and hands-on Design Director/ Product Designer to help bring innovative physical products to life across a variety of categories.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, product development, and storytelling. You'll collaborate closely with creative, merchandising, and product leadership teams to transform concepts into compelling products that resonate with customers and strengthen a distinct brand point of view.

What You'll Do

Product Design & Development

Design and develop products across home décor, gift, accessories, lifestyle, and related consumer product categories.Translate creative direction, seasonal concepts, and merchandising needs into market-ready products.Create sketches, concepts, mockups, presentations, and development packages that communicate design intent.Evaluate materials, construction methods, manufacturing capabilities, and target costs throughout development.Review prototypes and samples, providing clear feedback to maintain design integrity through production.Creative & Brand Leadership

Elevate creative direction through thoughtful design solutions, innovation, and strong visual judgment.Contribute fresh ideas, materials, techniques, and product concepts that strengthen and evolve the overall brand aesthetic.Establish design best practices and collaborate on creative processes across teams.Provide guidance and mentorship to designers and cross-functional partners.Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with product development, merchandising, sourcing, creative, and vendor teams from concept through production.Collaborate with graphic artists and designers to ensure artwork, print, and pattern align with the overall product vision.Solve design and production challenges while maintaining quality, brand standards, and customer appeal.

What We're Looking For

5-8+ years of experience in product design or product developmentStrong portfolio demonstrating exceptional taste, creativity, and physical product innovation.Experience within home, gift, décor, accessories, lifestyle, or multi-category consumer products.Proven ability to translate creative direction into commercially successful products.Excellent visual judgment across color, materials, proportion, scale, artwork, and detail.Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment.Confidence to challenge ideas, propose creative alternatives, and improve product outcomes.
