Design manager

They will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the internal graphic designers and the coordination of their proposals / presentations in addition to their own design projects. Required • 8+ years of work experience • Bachelor's degree with preferred concentration in Marketing, Communications, Art, Business or equivalent work experience • Professional experience in applying design and layout / formatting • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator • Willingness and ability to create elegant, designed "feel" in programs such as PPT and Word that were not written primarily as design vehicles • Proven skills & educational training in typography, layout, composition, color theory & information design • Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management • Speed and agility; ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative design within tight deadlines • Experience working with teams in a professional service or large matrixed organization • Comfortable embedding with client service teams in 'war room' environments to develop and design materials in real-time • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and synthesize direction from many individuals • Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and sectors you serve • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
