Interior Designer Position We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team. This role involves collaborating with architects, designers, and principals to develop design concepts and project documentation. This position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with architects, designers, and principals to develop design concepts and project documentation • Contribute to the design and documentation of healthcare and other projects • Develop program documentation, space planning, FF&E specification, material selection, and documentation • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate design with building systems • Help resolve technical and design-related issues in collaboration with project teams • Present design concepts, materials, and layouts to project teams and clients through verbal communication, electronic drawing, mood boards, and material samples • Develop furniture selections, specifications, and budgets • Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture • Participate in the construction administration of projects, review of submittals, and RFIs • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field • 5-10 years of professional interior design experience for commercial architecture projects • Strong space planning, detailing, and documentation skills • Strong presentation skills and ability to facilitate design with clients or participate in client interviews • Proficiency in industry-standard software: Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office • Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills • Detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines • Collaborative team player with a proactive and professional attitude Benefits: • Competitive salaries • Generous employer-paid health benefits • Paid time off (3-4 weeks based on experience) • Flexible work schedule including half-day Fridays • Hybrid workplace • Professional growth and learning opportunities • Continuing education programs • Community volunteer opportunities
