Design Project Manager

Role Description Working closely with the Design, Drafting, Estimating, Production, and Consultant teams, you will own project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation while coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with company standards. Experience in residential design-build project management, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.Background in architecture, interior design, construction management, or a related discipline; bachelor’s degree preferred.Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Clear, professional communication skills for collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external partners.Proficiency with project management tools and basic design/construction software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software; familiarity with CAD or BIM tools is a plus).Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and residential construction practices in the Bay Area is highly beneficial.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate productive meetings, and make informed decisions under time constraints.Commitment to quality, client service, and ethical, non-discriminatory workplace practices.
