Job Description The Design Consultant role at Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. is an entry-level position that serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking design services. This role requires engaging with customers on the sales floor to support their design projects, conducting design appointments to determine customer needs, and providing advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: • Greet store customers in a helpful manner and provide assistance with store design walk-in needs • Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, develop clientele through networking and referrals, and manage leads generated within the store • Provide expert advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for both residential and commercial projects • Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions • Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with high accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up, including consistent and concise communication to customers and others
