(Power Point and or Adobe)Hosts Preview Days: greeting buyers, maintaining preview day brochures, buyer check in sheet and price lists, etc.Resolve issues with homebuyers, either in-person, over email or on the telephoneAct as liaison between field personnel and Design Center by answering questions from builders, sales consultants, and vendors promptlySet up and maintain buyers’ files electronicallyAssist in keeping product reference information current, including tear sheets/PDF’s of current materials offeredPrepare all final documentation including color selections, waivers, design deposits and amendmentsEnsure paperwork is accurate, audited, and clear stated and distributed in a timely mannerFollow up on any outstanding issues in a timely fashionRespond to any concerns or questions that arise from either homeowner, construction site, or customer service and provide quick responses and effective solutionsAttend Divisional Quarterly Meetings and Homeowner Orientations when necessaryPerform other related duties as assigned, especially administrativePerform monthly field visits to ensure quality and correct work is being performedMaintenance and upkeep of showroom including opening and closing checklists, snacks and beverages stocked and all materials put away prior to the end of each day Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or relevant major preferred, or minimum equivalent experience required2+ years of experience in a Design Center environment, preferably in new home constructionProficient in reading blueprints, preferredIntermediate level of computer skills and system knowledgeProficient in ExcelExperience with Power Point and Adobe or similar programs preferredKnowledge of JDE and Hyphen Solutions is preferredProficiency in Math; Accounting experience preferred for Senior Administrator positionOutstanding Interpersonal and Customer Service skills, and a high degree of professionalismStrong written/verbal communication skills to include a clear and professional phone voiceAbility to communicate effectively with confidence and professionalismFrequent contact with new homebuyers, subcontractors, vendors and employees at all levels of the organizationTeam player; with demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams, in a support roleAccurate; with keen attention to detail in every aspect of the jobSelf-directed; takes initiative, proactively addresses problems; can work independently with minimal oversightHighly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines, with multiple interruptionsStrong selling and presentation skillsGood organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skill – verbal and written – in particular good listening skillsAbility to multi-task with flexibility in work styleAbility to work both as part of a team and independentlyAvailable to work flexible hours as needed 50% or more of the dayMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licenseMust be willing to travel to communities and other offices as neededMust be able to lift up to 20 lbs.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinetsMust be able to climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain when visiting homes and home sitesSome filing is required, which would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessaryAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Diversity and inclusion are important aspects of the work we do to support our homebuyers, colleagues and communities.
