Design Team Manager

This position not only requires the individual to excel as a Senior Designer but also to ensure that the design services provided are of the highest quality and responsive to the needs of both clients and the sales team. The Design Team Manager will be responsible for managing the resources of the design department, assisting in the onboarding and training of new team members, and ensuring that all deadlines are met for customers and sales staff. As a Design Team Manager, the individual will oversee a team of 10 designers, mentoring and developing young design talent while creating individual development plans for each team member. Responsibilities will include managing staffing and scheduling, ensuring the quality of design outputs, driving innovation within the design team, and maintaining awareness of competitive products and industry trends. , • Experience in an Interior Design role with a proven track record of participating in successful projects within the commercial interiors space.
