Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day aspects of your assigned client projects, through both the design phase and the execution / construction phase, with Stephanie’s guidance • Attend and actively participate in client design presentations and correspondence • Gather thoughtful, curated design inspiration imagery and compose mood boards • Create floor plans, models, renderings, and construction documents • Efficiently FF&A options, filtering for SFD aesthetic and client budget • Design and detail custom millwork and furniture • Compose compelling design presentations, weaving together 2D, 3D, physical materials, and printed materials for maximum clarity and impact • Actively seek methods of incorporating AI / ChatGPT into our workflow to maximize efficiency • Act as the lead point of contact between GC and SFD throughout the project. Qualifications • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture • 4+ years of experience at an interior design firm • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Canva, Google Sheets, and Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with Studio Designer is a plus • Working knowledge of construction process and best practices, experience communicating with tradespeople and subs on job sites • Active interest & knowledge of design trends and best-in-class designers and vendors • Demonstrated experience drawing custom millwork and furniture details, and reviewing shop drawings with cabinet-makers and upholsterers • Valid MA Driver’s License • Comfortable lifting small furniture or materials when needed Benefits: • Paid time off
