Position: Designer I & II - PT Water Pay: Designer I: $29.27 - $37.00/hr | Designer II: $32.20 - $40.00/hr Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week (varies) Location: City Utilities Engineering, Fort Wayne, IN
What You'll Do
Collect, analyze, and verify project data for water system improvementsDraft construction plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design softwareAssist with planning, design, and construction engineering projects under supervisionManage project documentation and PMIS records, including permits and easement acquisitionCoordinate with City staff and Capital Project Services to resolve project issues
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited programKnowledge of hydraulics, hydrology, and engineering design principlesStrong computer skills, including drafting and spreadsheet softwareValid Indiana Driver's License
