The Designer II, Interiors supports the interior design team in the development and documentation of interior architectural projects. This role contributes to design development, construction documents, furniture and finish specifications, and coordination across project phases, with a strong focus on Revit production and technical accuracy.

This position is located in Seattle, Washington and will support Bassetti Architects, a design studio of HMC Architects. The position requires 3 days in the office and the ability to work from home Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

Assist with interior design development and construction documentation using RevitPrepare interior plans, finish schedules, furniture specifications, and material presentationsSupport coordination of interior drawings with architectural drawings and consultantsAssist with plan check responses and application of relevant accessibility and fire code requirementsSupport construction administration activities, including submittal and RFI reviewEnsure design intent is maintained throughout all project phasesCollaborate with project teams to resolve conflicts and meet deadlinesEstimate and manage time for assigned tasks within established budgetsRequirements

Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited programMinimum of 3 years of experience producing interior architectural drawings in RevitStrong understanding of interior construction documentation and furniture/finish specificationsProficiency in Revit and familiarity with drawing setup, coordination, and file managementKnowledge of applicable codes related to interiors and accessibilityEffective written and verbal communication skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesProfessional, collaborative, and motivated to take on new challengesThe salary range for this position is $25.41 – $35.73/hour ($52,858 - $74,314).

The actual offered salary for this position will vary depending on multiple factors including the candidate’s qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. The salary range listed above does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, employee stock ownership grants, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
