About the Role: As a Designer at Garcia Construction you will be the creative and technical lead on a variety of residential and light commercial projects. Collaborate directly with clients to design kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, and light remodels Collaborate directly with commercial and internal clients to design retail and restaurant tenant buildouts Create detailed CAD drawings including layouts, elevations Create detailed CAD drawings for garages, decks, and carports Create submittal and specification sheets for projects Work closely with our in-house architect to review and revise drawings as needed Coordinate with the construction team to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the build process Project coordination and scheduling Specify and order all finish materials including windows, doors, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders
