DESIGNER – INTERIORS – MID LEVEL

We’re seeking a Designer to join our project team for the design of a confidential integrated resort—a landmark destination envisioned to redefine the relationship between architecture, landscape, and experience. Utilize your experience to perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentationParticipate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lightingCreates initial concept packages with a strong design story, to guide the design process through project completionConducts programming efforts through space planning studies to arrive at final approved plan that meet the goals of clientsSculpts interior spaces as a holistic experience including specification of furniture, lighting, artwork and finishes/materialsLeads day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines, manage communication and coordination with clients and consultantsCommunicates conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawingsWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesParticipates in the construction administration of projects – including review of submittals and finish samples as well as value engineering efforts to maintain design intent Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field from an accredited program5 – 8 years of interior design experienceNCIDQ or CID Certification in progressLEED Accreditation a plusProficient in SketchUp and RevitProficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specificationsRendering and visual communication skills are highly valuedPassionate, self-starting, intelligent, dedicated, efficient Detailed understanding of FF&E design and deliverables As a people-first organization, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
