Designer - Junior

Your Role What You Will Do • Contribute to the development of interior design concepts and space planning solutions • Support preparation of construction documents with a focus on accuracy and clarity • Participate in project coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies • Assist with material selection, finishes, pricing options, and product research • Provide design support through all phases of project development—from schematic design through construction administration • Help maintain project schedules, deliverables, and documentation with efficiency and attention to detail • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and consistent design quality. You have • the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment • a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited program • 1-3 years of professional design experience, ideally inclusive of design experience for large-scale commercial projects • experience within a commercial design firm participating in all phases from schematic through construction administration • basic understanding of construction drawings, codes, and building processes • strong rendering skills preferably • demonstrated commitment to At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
