Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited program6-10 years of relevant (interior architecture and interior design projects for workplaces [offices]) professional experienceHighly proficient in RevitProficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUpStrong knowledge of the design process, including FF+E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materialsOutstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideasKnowledge of AutoCAD, 3D and other modeling software programsFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; ideally portfolios will include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview We encourage every person at Gensler to lead a healthy and balanced life.
