Designer - Workplace Interiors

Your Role As a Gensler Designer with the Work 2 Studio in Washington, D.C., your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for our incredible clients. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited program 6-10 years of relevant (interior architecture and interior design projects for workplaces [offices]) professional experience Highly proficient in Revit Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF+E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D and other modeling software programs Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; ideally portfolios will include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview **The estimated base salary range for this position is $74,000-$103,000, plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, with final compensation contingent on relevant experience.
