Director of Design

A Franklin Director of Design not only acts as a Senior Designer, excelling at all tasks encompassed in that role, but is also responsible for ensuring high-quality design services that are responsive to the needs of clients and sales team members. The individual directs space planning and design efforts for Franklin. • Work with all Senior Leadership and marketing to fit interior design strategy to organizational vision. • Bid Training – Value Engineering Mindset • Consistency of presentations • Consistency of deliverable – standards of inclusion • Project meetings (internal and with clients) establish what the design process is in these meetings • Interpersonal Skills • Organizational Skills • Codes, standards and national policies • Process adherence and training • Tactics to stay fresh and tool your mind to think this way • Constantly search for an innovative approach to workplace solutions, client presentations / deliverables and team building. • Lead this team to be the energy and creative engine of our company • Ability to communicate ideas, concepts and instructions to staff and colleagues.
