Director of Materials & Process Engineering

JOB SUMMARY The Director of Materials & Process Engineering is responsible for leading material and process initiatives at the company. The M&P Director is expected to collaborate with other leaders in the engineering and manufacturing functions to assure the materials and processes included in our design data can be fully realized in the operation, are cost efficient, and represent state of the art technology. The M&P Director is expected to remain on the forefront of advances made in the relevant material technologies, as well the associated manufacturing processes, to provide the company with a competitive advantage. Contributes to the continuous improvement of current manufacturing procedures as they apply to materials and process. Experience: Experience in writing and reviewing materials specifications, process specifications, qualification plans, test plans and reports.
