Draftsperson CAD Operator - Residential Interior Design Celebrating 40 years in business, renowned boutique interior design firm based in Hobe Sound, Florida is seeking a drafting professional proficient in operating CAD for the planning and execution of luxury residential interior design projects. The scope of projects include: architectural detailing, interior detailing, millwork detailing, architectural lighting, flooring, furniture, etc., with projects in Florida as well as in various parts of the country. The CAD operator will be working in tandem with the firm's principal, architects, designers & interior consultants, furniture makers, and project managers, and will focus on design, production, documentation, and distribution of drawing files. Candidates should be ready to share their portfolio in both printed and PDF formats. Job Duties: • Producing accurate CAD drawings using AutoCAD • Maintaining organized libraries of CAD drawings and using effective and appropriate file sharing methods • Combine CAD files from architect blueprints, designers & interior consultant plans • Confer and communicate effectively with multiple parties through the course of a project • Produce working sets of design drawings, furniture & lighting plans, with up to date notes • Be on time, efficient, and organized Qualifications: • experience operating CAD software, AutoCAD preferred • experience with single-family residential architectural or interior spaces • Knowledge of single-family residential construction / space planning • Knowledge of architectural and interior detailing • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft office, Excel, Adobe & Drop Box Salary is negotiable based on experience Company Description H.
