The Engineer Interiors and Technology is responsible for technical accuracy and reliability of Aircraft Interior systems, Aircraft Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFE&C) systems, and their associated components. for applicability, system reliability and/or economic benefits • Implement design changes as required to meet airline/departmental objectives and management directives • Demonstrate compliance with all applicable regulations for modification/repairs pertaining to area of responsibility • Establish and maintain configuration and standard of exterior and interior graphics • Assist in the evaluation and planning for new aircraft and equipment • Develop customized procedures and special criteria for repairs, modifications, inspections, servicing and other maintenance actions • Ensure reliability performance standards are maintained • Conduct root cause analysis for systems and components to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions or premature removals • Evaluate new methods, materials and equipment which may provide cost benefits and take action to incorporate justified changes • Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of previous relevant work experience • Three (3) years’ experience in engineering or a combination of engineering and maintenance experience • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations governing aircraft certification and maintenance • Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge • Flexible work schedule required including shifts, weekends, and holidays • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%) • Must pass a pre-employment drug test • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located • Authorization to work in the US is required.
