Entry Level Designer Interior Design

Purpose Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start to finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with the customers we serve. They are responsible for meeting with customers, listening to their project needs, educating them on all that is required for their project, and building a creative design concept that incorporates the customers' personal style, lifestyle, and budget. Minimum Eligibility Requirements Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience Degree in Design is a plus Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position Essential Functions Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support store design walk-in needs Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, developing clientele through networking, referrals, and store-generated leads Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for residential and commercial projects Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions Manage multiple customer projects through all phases with accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up, maintaining clear communication Collaborate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation, achieving sales and other goals Support company initiatives and model best practices with store staff Engage with current and emerging design trends Utilize design applications such as Salesforce, proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler, and MyProject Working Conditions Limited travel may be required by car Store Hours Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Relocation opportunities nationwide Employee Stock Purchase Plan Holiday and Volunteer Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, and other plans (eligibility required) Equal Employment Opportunity Floor & Decor provides equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, color, religion, creed, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetic information, ethnicity, citizenship, or any other protected category. #J-18808-Ljbffr Floor & Decor
