Entry level Interior Architect Designer

Established commercial and residential interior design company seeking an entry level designer to join our team. A great opportunity for a hardworking, detail-oriented and dependable individual looking to gain initial experience in both residential and commercial interior design and project management. Fast-paced work environment involves multi-tasking with tight deadlines, taking initiative and being self-motivated. Responsibilities: • Work both independently and with the design team • Assist design team on multiple projects throughout design phases: concept to installation • Space planning, drafting (CAD), visualizations and renderings, furniture layouts and design coordination. Execute floor plans and elevations, as well as maintain revisions • Create/organize/maintain client project binders • Research, source and gather materials for presentations • Request quotations, place/track orders, communicate project statuses • Request memo sampling, assist with material library • Assist in client project meetings, onsite visits, installations, photo shoots • Create social media for Instagram and Houz • Assistance with studio/showroom merchandising/styling and pricing Requirements: • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Honest, hardworking, well-rounded, and dedicated, knows how to get the job done with a sense of humor • Takes direction easily • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, V-Ray or other rendering programs is mandatory • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Understanding of social media platforms, specifically Instagram • Must have reliable transportation Availability: Immediately Salary: Compensation is determined on experience.
