Entry Level Interior Design Assistant

We are a (very) small residential interior design studio in Oak Cliff, looking for a part-time, entry level design assistant. Position can be primarily based remotely with somewhat flexible schedule, but will involve site visits, errands, deliveries, etc that will require your own transportation. What you would be doing: Assist building boards and other materials for client presentations Assist rendering spaces in Sketchup Assist producing construction drawings Research materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and decor for client projects Order, troubleshoot, and track material samples for projects/clients Maintain and grow interior design library Process, organize, and maintain 3D graphic and 2D image assets used in proposals, renderings, and presentations Research market to find new and innovative resources Measure existing interior spaces, document and verify conditions Order, troubleshoot, and track client furniture and materials purchases Liaise with vendors, contractors and clients Your Qualifications: Working toward or hold a Bachelor or Masters degree in Interior Design Strong, creative design portfolio Strong communication, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills Proficiency in Sketchup, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred Please respond with the following to be considered: Cover letter Resume Link to online portfolio, or portfolio samples
