Welcome to One Hat One Hand We are a privately held, San Francisco-based creative company, designing and building unique works of art primarily for corporate clients, architecture and interior design firms as well as public arts commissions. Overview: One Hat One Hand is looking to fill a position of Estimator. The role not only requires a cross departmental familiarity of common practices in Design, Project Management, Fabrication and Finishing, but also demands a nuanced understanding of the uncommon uses of these practices. In addition, the Estimator will lead the estimating team to efficiently handle all estimating needs and enable smooth flow of projects to the production team. Daily Responsibilities: Estimating design proposals Prompt response to incoming inquiries and all subsequent client communications Managing the OHOH pipeline Organize and lead project launch meetings, prepare and present technical assessments that may include the following Technical drawings Compiled resources for presentation to client Compiled resources and documentation for presentation to Designers and PMs Designs for fabrication processes (CNC, Laser, waterjet.
