Expediter Project Manager

Project Manager / Expeditor: Our High End residential Interior Design Firm is seeking a candidate for our open Project Manager/Expediter role to effectively manage procurement and coordination for our projects. Depending on the candidate this role may also include social media and marketing support, some business development and strategic planning. This position is ideal for an outstanding professional who has master project tracking and coordination skills and wants a stable and long-term position with a growing firm. Typical Tasks and Responsibilities: • Manage all purchasing and goods procurement for interior design projects • Coordinate all product deliveries • Coordinate with storage warehouse as needed/ office Inventory • Enter all scheduling information in project tracking system • Enter and manage all vendor information • Weekly status reporting • Coordinate with bookkeeper regarding vendor payments as needed • Liaise with vendors to ensure they are producing goods and services as needed • Manage damaged goods with vendors Accounting Desired Experience: • 2 years of project management and office administration experience • Interior Design vendor knowledge a plus • Must be able to commit to 2 years or more to the position • Familiarity with Studio Designer or other project management software a plus • Gifted at building and maintaining professional relationships • Highly organized, process and detail oriented • Must have a track record of precision in your work • Confident in your use of / or ability to learn use of DropBox, Monday, Gmail, Microsoft Office • Extremely skilled at coordinating interdependent processes and timing • Gifted in multi-tasking in a fast paced environment • Must be effectual at coordinating and communicating with vendors and team members Character Strengths: • Professional and polished phone and written presence • Extremely organized and enjoys completing tasks • Customer service oriented • Clear and effective communicator, knows how to ask the right questions to ensure clear communication • Enjoys working as a team but is able to work independently where necessary.
