Facilities Remodel Designer

We are seeking a Facilities Remodel Designer with knowledge of architectural design standards to join our Facilities Design team! The purpose of this position is to design remodel projects of small to medium complexity that requires cross-functional involvement from multiple departments within Facilities and Retail. Required Qualifications • Design related Associate’s degree or its equivalent and 2 years of work related experience in retail design field working on construction documents (or) • Two-year post high school certificate in a design related discipline or technical/trade school degree including two (2) years of work-related experience in a retail design working on construction documents (or) • Bachelor’s degree in related design field • Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) • Basic knowledge of REVIT • Knowledge of underlying infrastructure required to support equipment (e.g. electrical, plumbing (drains), etc. Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year.
