Job Description • Lead / manage design teams to set & meet project deliverables according to defined timelines (based on Director & Principal’s approved schedule & milestones) • Define and oversee budget with in-house purchasing accountant • Collaborate and interface seamlessly with designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects simultaneously • Responsible for material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations • Assist in the process of creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination) • Set regular meetings to update Principal / Director & Project Team • Be main point of Contact with consultants & vendors for FF&E related scope • Request initial concept samples, cuts, and information for office & client approval • Prepare initial hardware and finish specifications • Oversee the creation of FF&E Design Presentations, Purchase Orders & Specification Sheet Packages (prior to submittal to Project Director) • Manage FF&E / Material Vendor Relationships • Resolve / troubleshoot design issues • Schedule project installation with Install Team, oversee and approve styling plan • Review Install Team’s inspection Report of items prior to delivery (upholstered items, custom cabinetry, etc.) • Coordinate FF&E integration, documentation within scope of project deliverables • Determine appropriate deadlines/work schedules/specific duties for designers (based on overall workload) • Present all staffing needs and cross-team coordination bi-weekly to Project Director • Maintain Antique and Auction schedules with Studio Assistant • Maintain project records for decoration and specifications
