The FF+E Residential Interior Designer is to assist the Principal, Partner, and the Project Design Team on interior projects from the Pre-Schematic Phase through Design Development, Purchasing, and Installation. • Prepare, coordinate, and maintain interior drawings and material specifications with architects and contractors as needed for construction. • Prepare, develop, and maintain furniture budgets. • Maintain quality control throughout a project’s completion. Desired Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years of interior design experience with a concentration in High-end Residential Design • Comfortable taking on design tasks on their own and/or with direction from either the Principal or Partner • Ability to prepare and coordinate construction documents in AutoCAD • Strong communication, organization, and graphic presentation skills • Ability to develop, communicate, and present design concepts to their team and clients • Experience with high-end furniture selections and procurement • Knowledge of a variety of design styles and high-end furniture & lighting sources • Express a desire to source new products and develop innovative design solutions • Ability to work well in a team environment • Ability to work on multiple projects at various stages of development at the same time • Proficiency with the following programs is required: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Design Manager, InDesign • Not required, but a plus: Asana, Bluebeam Revu, Sketchup, Microsoft Suite, LEED accreditation, NCDIQ accreditation, Hospitality interior design experience
