The Design Consultant will also partner with store leaders to maximize sales goals and expand the design services brand.Minimum Eligibility Requirements1+ years of retail/customer service experienceHigh school diploma and or GEDProficient in basic mathematical skillsMust be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suiteInternal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor and Decor Essential FunctionsGreet store customers in a helpful manner and supports store design walk-in needsSchedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the storeProviding tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutionsManage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and follow-up including consistent and concise communication to customers and others. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.Physical/Sensory RequirementsMedium Work - Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
