Designer – Floor & Decor Base Pay: Minimum $15.24 per hour (higher starting pay based on experience). Minimum Eligibility Requirements Essential Functions Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support store design walk‑in needs Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers and build clientele through networking, referrals, and in‑store leads Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with high accuracy, timeliness, and follow‑up, ensuring consistent and concise communication with customers and team members Collaborate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation, achieving sales and other goals Enthusiastically support all company initiatives and goals by modeling and coaching best practices with store employees Engage in current and emerging design trends in your market Use design applications (Salesforce, proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject) Perform other duties as assigned Working Conditions
