Northern NJ / Metro NYC design firm looking for part time freelance cad / draftsperson to work offsite on multiple projects at a time. Must have own software. JOB DESCRIPTION: * some type of background in one of the following environments: interior design / architecture / kitchen & bath showrooms * Proficient in AutoCAD , Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop * drafting 2D floor plans & room elevations / millwork / all types of built in custom furniture drawings * proficient in new kitchen & bath layouts ( kitchen cabinetry / tile layouts / plumbing & fixtures layouts / lighting layouts ) * develop mood boards & other presentation materials as required * work offsite with a few onsite meetings per month as needed to pick up new project materials * will need to occasionally travel to onsite measure for new project floor plans as needed ( northern NJ / NYC areas ) * work independently & efficiently with effective verbal & written communication skills * positive / flexible / good attitude
