Job Description: Nine Dot Design, a boutique residential + commercial interior design firm based in Santa Monica, is seeking a freelance drafting and Sketchup professional proficient in operating CAD, 3D modeling and renderings of interior design projects. This includes: architectural detailing, interior detailing, millwork detailing, lighting plans, rendered floor plans and Sketchup or Revit models. This will be on a project-by-project basis and you will be working in tandem with the firm's founder and principal designer. Candidates should be ready to share their portfolio in both printed and PDF formats and have all necessary equipment and programs. Job Duties: • Producing accurate CAD drawings using Auto CAD • Create a template and standards for drawing sets • Maintain organized libraries of CAD drawings • When necessary, combine CAD files from architects, designers & interior consultant plans • Must be highly-organized and confer and communicate effectively • Produce working sets of construction drawings, furniture & lighting plans, with up to date notes.
