Freelance Interior Designer

We’re currently seeking a freelance Interior Designer that is passionate, creative, highly-organized, enthusiastic, driven, and results-oriented to join our team. • Assist with the production of construction documents & drawings, including floor plans, elevations, RCP, etc. • Preparing design boards and deliverables for client presentations • Taking notes during client meetings for follow-up action items • Expediting and tracking furniture orders for multiple projects • Requesting quotes and lead times with vendors, fabricators & showrooms • Running general project errands • Inspecting inventory and organizing and returning (if necessary) products/samples • Collaborating with Principal on social media posts • Assisting on install days and photoshoots Requirements: • Minimum of 4+ years of interior design experience • Must have a BA in Interior Design • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Sketchup • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and Excel • Since this is a freelance position, you must own a reliable computer and all of the above design programs • Strong design & presentation skills are essential • Knowledge of Los Angeles trade resources and vendors • Studio Designer experience, a plus • Reliable car and valid California Driver’s License • Must live in or near Los Angeles This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Has: • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • The ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure • Strong organizational and time management skills • Personality: Upbeat, resourceful, responsible, takes initiative, dependable, trustworthy, takes pride in work. • Effective troubleshooting skills and the ability to take direction.
