A small, boutique interior design firm that specializes in residential projects is seeking a freelance Interior Designer. Must be creative, highly- organized, and driven. The primary role of this position is to assist the Principal Designer throughout the design process and will be responsible for an array of duties that include: • Creating presentations in InDesign • Sourcing lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials, and finishes. • Draft floor plans in AutoCAD • Expediting and tracking furniture orders for multiple projects • Requesting quotes and lead times with vendors, fabricators & showrooms • Running project-related errands • Assisting on install days and photoshoots Requirements: • Minimum of 2+ years of interior design experience • Proficient in AutoCAD • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and MS Office • You must own a reliable computer and all of the above design programs • Strong design & presentation skills are essential • Knowledge of trade resources and vendors • Reliable car and valid driver’s license • Must live in or near Los Angeles Please email a cover letter, resume, and a portfolio illustrating the projects you've been involved with.
