Freelance Interior Designer / Installation Specialist or Lead (Travel-Based Projects) We are an Atlanta-based boutique interior design studio seeking experienced designers to join our extended team for project-based installation work across the U.S. You’ll work alongside our core team on a per-project basis, stepping in during the final and most critical phase—installation, ensuring each project is delivered with precision, efficiency, and design integrity. This is an ideal role if you’re looking to supplement your current design work with well-organized, high-impact projects—without the need for long-term commitments. Scope of Work • Read and interpret floor plans with ease • Navigate SketchUp and/or AutoCAD files and accurately extract dimensions • Manage and support on-site commercial installations, including: • Checking in deliveries against master inventory lists during unloads • Directing installation crews using detailed design documents • Overseeing product placement and making real-time adjustments to align with the design vision • Styling and placing accessories throughout the space • Coordinating art installation using elevation drawings • Documenting damages and providing clear daily reports to the lead designer
