Furniture Sales

Madison Furniture Barn is looking for an experienced Furniture Sales & Design Associate to join our team. We are flexible and open to either a full-time or part-time schedule for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong eye for design, and has previous experience selling furniture, home furnishings, or working in interior design sales.

This position is ideal for someone who can connect with customers, understand their needs and style, and confidently guide them through selecting furniture, fabrics, finishes, and room layouts.

Previous furniture sales, interior design sales, or relevant home-furnishings sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers throughout the showroomHelp customers select furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessoriesProvide guidance with color, scale, layout, and furniture placementCreate customer proposals and consistently follow up with customersBuild relationships and help guide customers from initial selections through purchaseLearn and maintain knowledge of our manufacturers and customizable furniture optionsAssist with in-store design consultationsMaintain a welcoming and professional showroom environmentWhat We're Looking For

Madison Furniture Barn is a locally owned furniture and design showroom that has served the Connecticut shoreline for nearly 30 years. We offer quality furniture with extensive customization options and take a personal, design-focused approach to helping our customers create homes they love.

Schedule: Full-time or part-time. We are flexible for the right candidate. Some weekend availability is required.

Experience: Previous furniture, interior design, or home-furnishings sales experience is required.
