At Gensler, we design for people. As a Gensler Designer, your job will be to combine creativity and develop technical knowledge to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You will collaborate with our broader design team to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation and construction administration phases of a project. Brainstorm interior architecture approaches to meet the Clients' needs Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction Collaborate within our team structure to deliver the best work for our clients Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop a knowledge of finishes and furniture Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school 0-5 years of experience; 2-5 years of interior design project experience preferred Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas throughout the process.
